This workout emphasizes speed, power, endurance, all while learning the skills and technique necessary for proper self defense.
The focal point of the class is entirely on technique. The class focuses on learning and applying fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students practice various techniques using a traditional Gi, also known as a kimono. Students learn and practice submissions, escapes, positioning and self defense.

The Striking coach at Regiment. Brian received his black belt in Shotokan Karate under Sensei Louis A. Tavares. Brian has been practicing Shotokan Karate since 1996 and operated his own dojo, Raposo Shotokan Karate, in Fall River, MA. He has taught classes in traditional Shotokan Karate and realistic self defense for several years.
